Full description

Site (start line of Hedgehog) originally recorded on HER as part of Monument 57316.
Visited 2009. At this NGR is a small hollow, 8 metres by 10 metres, in the base of the dunes. The west, north and south sides are defined by a bank, 1 metre high. The feature appears to be artificial and probably represents a mock crater or landing craft at the start line.
Good condition. Some rabbit burrowing to bank and dune. Fencing has been moved from position shown on map to position immediately west of bank, but no damage evident. Other details: Site 44.
