Scattered concrete remnants located at SS45233360, SS45193354 and SS45273361, which may represent early constructiions at the World War II US Assault Training Centre.

'Remnants', 'Surface Rubble', 'Pillbox', 'Barbed Wire', 'Posts', 'Mound' and 'Concrete' annotated in the area between Ugly Lump Slack and Pebble Slack.

In the area of NGRs 45233360, 45193354, 45273361 and 45273361 there are a large number of concrete bases for metal posts. Only one was in situ at 4521633625, with the remainder either being toppled over or concrete fragments of post bases. The post bases measure circa 0.60 metre by 0.60 metre and up to 0.80 metre tall with the metal posts being 50 millimeres (2 inches) diameter. Other details: Site 14.
