Full description
Buck, C., 2006, Gawton Mine, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 28 (Report - Assessment). SDV344672.
The site of the horse whim appears to be on the north side of the shaft site. It is a partly raised area of ground (overgrown with heather) approximately 0.9 metres above ground level, and its edge is sited close to the shaft. Other details: Figure 35, site 11.1.
