Visited 2009. Small piece of shell tank casing visible lying on top of mound. Item measures 113 millimetres x 80 millimetres x 7 millimetres. Very heavy for size. One end has a rebate and is slightly thinner than the other end.
Poor condition. Unlikely to survive for much longer.
R.Bass reports wire at same location, but this was not sought during survey.. Other details: Sites 31 + 88.
