Summary
Ingletts farmstead, Michelcombe, Holne dates to at least the 16th century when the barn to the west of the farm was used as a longhouse, but it may be even earlier. Depicted on the Tithe Map. Included in the Dartmoor National Park Authority survey.

Full description
1840, Tithe Map (Cartographic). SDV339770.
The Tithe Map of 1839 shows three holdings depicted north of the lane; number 33: Hodges, to the west, number 32: Fords and Fynes, in the centre and 31: Ingletts and Napps to the east. Scattered fields farmed by Fords and Fynes are located to the west of the holdings, beyond the north-south track (numbered 28 on Tithe Map).

By the time of the First Edition Ordnance Survey map, Hodges farm is gone and the orchard behind (north) Longbarn had been extended onto the former Hodges property.
