Building associated with an artificial 'waterfall' created by taking water from the leat. A building is shown close to this site on the 1867 Bedford Estates map, however it may be associated with the incline tramway from Pearce's Shaft to the upper dressing floor. The map shows the leat going around and west of the building. This feature is relatively well preserved. Other details: Figure 36, site 23.
