Two buildings shown to the south-west of King's Shaft.

These buildings are not shown on the 1867 Bedford Estates map but are shown on the 1884 Ordnance Survey map. They are probably related to the dressing of ore prior to the material going to the calciners, and it is likely that there is a jigger house to separate ore from waste rock in one of these buildings. The Ordnance survey map appears to show that these were open sided buildings, probably of timber and galvanised roof construction, which would leave little evidence of their existence. There are no visible remains of these buildings, however there may well be remnants of the lower walls or foundations within the site. Other details: Figures 8, 36, site 65.
