Full description
Buck, C., 2009, South Hooe Mine, Bere Alston, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 33-4 (Report - Assessment). SDV344692.
Boiler house exhaust flue shown on mine plan of 1856, but not on Ordnance Survey map of 1883. The flues were likely to have been built of killas stone with probably a brick arched roof. The sides and roof have been robbed, just leaving a raised line of masonry rubble (0.2-0.3 metres high and 0.6-0.9 metres wide), which marks the route of the flue as it traverses the hillside.
