Full description

Linear shaped reservoir shown on 1856 plan of the mine, which provided water for both the stamps steam engine boiler and the dressing floor. It was fed by the leat from North Hooe, which also ran along the south side to provide water to the grinder house. Other details: Figures 6, 15, site 24.
