Full description
Buck, C., 2009, South Hooe Mine, Bere Alston, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 51 (Report - Assessment). SDV344692.
Sand Quay, shown on the 1856 plan of the mine, may have been for agricultural rather than industrial use. It may have been a small area of raised, level rectangular stone to form a site upon which sea sand could be unloaded. Other details: Figure 15, site 28.
