Marked on the Tithe Map as 'Great Yellowmead' (plot 215).

(01/06/1977) (SX 570678) A cairn, possibly containing a cist lies in Walkham Valley, 500ft northwest of the northwest angle of the ends of Yellowmead Farm. To the northeast of the cairn there is a pound enclosing 3 hut circles. (NRHE record cites Devon S and M register)
This obviously refers to Yellowmeade Farm, Walkhampton, not Yellowmead, Sheepstor. (See SX 57 SE 14 and 15). (citing Worth, R. H., 1948)
