Summary

Farmstead dates to at least the early 19th century, based on cartographic evidence. The 1840s Tithe Map shows two adjoining dwellings and some auxiliary structures. Recorded in the Dartmoor Historic farmstead survey (visited in 1995), the buildings shown on the 19th century historic map appear to have been retained.

Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments, Plots 234-235 (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Plot 234 - 'House'. Attached to the southern end of building in plot 235 - 'House and Garden'; part of the Churchpark estate. Range to the west less clear; buildings shown here may pre-date this building.

Late 19th century shows the buildings as surviving.

The Lees Farm included in survey. SX 621 937. Visited on 14/02/1995. Farmhouse with adjoining barn (domestic use) and range of buildings to the west recorded (all 19th century).
