The pumphouse, pigsties and adjoining yard wall were all built together on the south side of the farmyard on the west end of the farmhouse. At the west end there is a pair of pigsties with paired doorways. The right (western) doorway still has a granite step and contains a probably original plank door on wrought iron strap hinges. West of the pigsties is a recess which could have been used as an open pen. It appears the pigsties are part of the early 20th century alterations to the farmbuildings. Other details: Plates 22-23.
