Full description
Buck, C., 2008, Weir Quay Smelters, Devon: Impact and Conservation Assessment, 30 (Report - Assessment). SDV344723.
An extant brick arch, 4.3 metres high and spanning a length of approximately 6 metres, which appears to support a roof or wall above, perhaps for an aerial tamway for coke fed into the furnaces, and to provide wide, open access into the interior. Other details: Figures 17, 22, site 58.
