The remains of a semi-circular bank at the western edge of the field may indicate a point where the stream that crosses the field was dammed to form a pond.
Ordnance Survey, 2010, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV344030.
MasterMap shows this point to be the western side of a large pond or flood area off the north side of the stream.
