(14/06/1998) Centred SX 53358445. A short tin lode back working ascends the N flank of White hill immediately E of the Bearwalls Farm enclosures. The working commences at SX 53348454 at the foot of the slope on the left bank of a tributary of the Walla Brook as an openwork up to 8m wide and 3.5m deep which runs S to SX 53368445 with a smaller branch to SX 53338447. The N to S line of the main working is continued S towards the summit of White Hill by a line of small tin pits which terminate at SX 53428437. Some of the pits have been adapted for military use.
