Full description

Robinson, S. + Corney, M., 2006, Proposed Lagoon Site at Twinyeo Farm, Kingsteignton, Devon: Results of Archaeological Evaluation by Earthwork Survey and Trial Trenching, 3, 11 (Report - Evaluation). SDV345292.

The earthwork survey identified a ditch, 4 metres wide and up to 0.3 metres deep except at the north-east end where later damage has distorted the plan and profile. Trench 14 crossed this area, and revealed a spread of redeposited natural clay and gravels, with occasional brick and slate pieces partly infilling the linear hollow earthwork at the centre of the trench. Other details: Figure 2.
