Full description
Thackray, C., 1990, Archaeological Survey of the Salcombe Estuary: West (Bolt Head to Bolt Tail and Snapes Point) Devon, 14 (Report - Survey). SDV345519.
A stone faced lynchet lies across the coastal footpath, just west of Bolt Head coastguard lookout. It has an elliptical-shaped stone enclosure behind it. The lynchet occurs in a narrow chasm between two rock outcrops on either side of the footpath. It is presumably linked with the remains of field systems in the area.
