Full description
Buck, C., 2010, George & Charlotte Mine, Morwell, Devon: Archaeological Assessment, 34 (Report - Assessment). SDV345606.
The remains of a building shown on the 1867 estate maps, at the north end of the long retaining wall (of the dressing floor), probaly related to ore dressing. The building, internally 2.2 by 4 metres, has a visible south side wall which is 1 metre above ground level, with a doorway at its east end. It is set in an area that has been excavated from the hillside to form a flattish site and its east (upslope) wall is the long retaining wall of the dressing floor.
