A series of curvilinear features were recorded during a geophysical survey of the area (Area 1) indicating possible prehistoric settlement of funerary activity. A number of linear features were also recorded which may represent ditches from former fields. An evaluation trench (T1) was subsequently positioned to target two fo the curvilinear anomalies. On a single ditch aligned east-west was recorded in the trench, 2.6 metres wide and 0.57 metres deep. This ditch was also visible on the ground surface as a negative earthwork. No finds were recovered.
