Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX66SE5 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV145071.

Hut circle B measures 9.0 meters in diameter, with 0.4 meter high walls and a possible entrance to the south-east.


Robinson, R., 1978, Woolholes enclosed hut groups (Dockwell Ridge) (Worksheet). SDV145074.

This may be two hut circles that are adjoined, according to Robinson, built against the pound wall on the western side. The walls are densely overgrown with bilberry, but are 0.5 meters high and very widely spread; the internal diameter of the huts is 3.0 and 4.0 meters respectively, for the huts Robinson describes as 2 and 3. There are no clear entrances.
