A few old field boundaries survive as earthworks. A hedgebank which formed the original boundary on the north-west side of the headland now lies just within National Trust ownership, with a recent footpath beyond. It consists of a substantial stone faced earthbank about 1.5 metres high and 1.6 metres wide. It is one of the old field boundaries shown on a map circa 1800. The footpath runs parallel on the north side and an unofficial path from this crosses the earthbank, and is eroding it. Other details: Maps; site inventory no. 003.
