Early 19th century house with shallow curved bow windows on two floors, and a wooden doorcase with fluted columns.

Premises of Surridge Dawson and Co. Ltd., Chard Street. Late 18th century stone rubble house with painted brick front and ashlar plinth. Steeply pitched slate roof with stone coped gable ends. Two storeys and attic. Three bays. Tripartite sash windows with glazing bars in slightly bowed bays on console brackets. Centre first floor round-arched sash with glazing bars. Central doorway with fluted pilasters, entablature and panelled reveals, and double doors. Band at first floor level. Brick chimney stacks at gable ends. Date listed: 11th August 1950.
