Full description

Fisher, J., 1999, East Devon Conservation Area Appraisals: Axminster, 15 (Report - non-specific). SDV346144.

A good example of hand made brick, replacement when necessary needs particular care. Note stone footings. Other details: Photograph.

Belmont House, Lymne Street. Early 19th century red brick house. Slate roof with parapeted gable ends. Two-storeys. Three bays. Sash windows with glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches. Central doorcase with thin panelled pilasters, entablative, rectangular fanlight with diamond shaped panes and fielded panel reveals and door. Date listed: 6th June 1983.
