Linear feature across corner of field on east side of Bowden's Lane, to north-west of enclosures.

A linear cropmark of a ditch is visible.
Many of the aerial photographs consulted are copies of DAPs held by the Historic England Archive. These have been recorded here as separate sources as there is a possibility that variations in processing could result in images on which archaeological features show differently than on the original images.

A linear ditched feature is visible as a cropmark of a ditch circa 2m wide and 56m long, on aerial photographs of 1984, on east side of Bowden's Lane. The date and function of the linear ditch are unknown, but it might be associated with a nearby enclosure of probable later prehistoric date, possibly a field boundary.
