Grey Garth (off Fore Street Hill) has a 1923 datestone. It is constructed with a roughcast finish with stone dressings, and set into the side of the hill. It is further described as having "an informal, carefully detailed back elevation with stone mullioned windows, a corbelled-out bay, and well composed slate roof with a big chimney breaking through".
