Full description
Royal Air Force, 1946 - 1949, Royal Air Force Aerial Photographs (Aerial Photograph). SDV342938.
Possible pump house seen on the aerial photography of this area of the River Erme, although the photography quality is poor.

Building though to have been constructed in the 1960s by the property owners at Bullaven to generate electricity . A ram in the river generated the electricity and access to the building was gained over the swing plank bridge.

Structure thought to have been built by the 1940s, when it may be seen on aerial photography of the area to provide power for a country club that predated the property at Bullaven. This information provided through an oral history project interview in 2002 with the owner 7of Bullaven. Other details: Email correspondance.
