Full description

Within the Budleigh Salterton conservation area, there are a number of features of special character that are of particular note and worthy of retention. One of these is the generally modest proportioned buildings in High Street and Fore Street, with several fine original shopfronts, especially on corner sites. The photograph shows a corner shop site, Creedy and Sons, typical of several still retaining the original shopfront. Other details: Maps, photograph.
