Full description

Fisher, J., 1999, East Devon Conservation Area Appraisals: Seaton, 14 (Report - non-specific). SDV346803.

Seaton has a consideralble scattering of significant buildings not included within the conservation area. Among them is Seaforth Lodge, built by Henry Clutton in 1864-65 for Lady Ashburton, a friend of the Trevelyans. It is stuccoed with shallow pedimented gables, bracketed eaves and a good balcony and veranda.
