Chapel Street contains a very impressive range of cottages forming an almost continuous frontage and of important group value. These were mainly added to the statutory list in 1972 and constitute an important feature on entering the village. Other details: Maps.

Low two storey cob cottages adjoining Nos 1, 2 and 3 but unaltered. Thatched roofs with waved eaves. Three window fronts, wood casements some with leaded lights. No 4 has door of six flush panels. No 5 of four flush panels. Nos 1 to 5 form a group.
