There is just one statutorily listed building within the conservation area, the mainly 17th century Bickwell Farmhouse, with 20th century modifications giving an Arts and Crafts finish.. Also known as Bickwell Cottages, it was originally a dairy for Bickwell Farm. Other details: Maps, photograph.

Nos 1 and 2 Bickwell Cottages, Bickwell Vale (Formerly listed under Bickwell Vale) Old cob row of one and 2 storeys but same height. 17th/18th century. Thatched roof with 3 half-dormers, 2 and 3-light wood casements. One buttressed entrance suggests that part of row may be a converted barn. Plain cottage doors.
