Hughes, S. + Valentin, J., 2011, Land at Long Park, Talaton Road, Feniton, Devon. Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation, 2, 5 (Report - Evaluation). SDV347003.

Two parallel linear features were recorded in an evaluation trench (1) on land at Long Park, in the south-eastern corner of the site. F102, aligned north-east to south-west, was 1.63 metres wide and 0.37 metres deep with moderately sloping sides and a concave base. Two prehistoric worked chert flakes were recovered from the fill. F104, aligned east-north-east to west-south-west, was 1.4 metres wide and 0.3 metres deep and of similar profile to F102. No finds were recovered. Their alignments, similar profiles and close proximity to a Middle Bronze Age ditched field system recorded at Castle Hill indicates they are probably part of this, possibly forming its north-west extent.
