Summary

Hut circle on the south side of Corndon Down, within the Dartmeet parallel reave system. A possible hut circle set against the west side of a reave. The interior is silted but some stone is visible but there is no definable entrance. The hut measures 7.3 metres diameter with walls 1.2 metres thick and 0.6 metres high.

(14/03/2008) Three confirmed hut circles, one possible and one doubtful hut circle on the lower south slope of Corndon Tor. Two of the huts are incorporated into small rectangular enclosures, formed by subdivisions associated with reaves of the Dartmeet system. The enclosure walls are very subtle and fragmentary, consisting of low turf banks with some mostly buried stone visible in places.
