Late 17th century, timber-framed and pebbledashed. Three storeys, two windows to pair. Ground floor has late 19th century canted bays with slated pentice over central paired doors. Tripartite sashes above, glazing bars on second floor. Cornice, roof not visible. No 31 has original spiral staircase. All the listed buildings in Fore street form a group.
