A leat running south-west from North Hooe mine is shown on an abandoned mine plan of 1873. The course of the leat is now a footpath. Another leat, or section of the same leat, is also marked around the southern edge of the mine area.

Meaton, C, 2023, North Hooe Silver and Lead Mine- North Hooe, Bere Alston, Devon- Conservation Assessment, 10, 34, Photograph 20 (Report - Survey). SDV366064.

Leat (13). The route of the Leat has been converted for use as a trackway, and was presumably infilled for this purpose, either naturally or deliberately. It runs between the Engine House and North Hooe Farm, measuring up to approximately 2m wide. The Leat path was not surveyed in detail, but there was little obvious evidence surviving of its former function. However, it is possible that either surface or buried features do survive in places along its course.
Although the former Leat has been infilled and the route used as a path, the alignment survives well and is considered to be in a stable condition.
