'Connett's Farm' is marked on 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map to the south of St. Nicholas Church.

A rare example of a village centre farmstead. Annotated plan shows a 19th century stone walled dairy with a corrugated iron roof situated opposite farmhouse. To the north, on the other side of the lane are two parallel ranges of buildings; a 19th century stone walled linestock and waggon shed and a 19th century stone-walled barn with asbestos sheet or corrugated iron roofs. The farmhouse and adjoining outbuilding have thatched roofs (B.A.R. 2.3.4, 2.2.3).
