A Second World War Chain Home Radar Station receiver mast is visible on aerial photographs of 1941 to 1946 at RAF Northam Radar Station. On aerial photographs of 1958 onwards four concrete plinths remain clearly visible, one at each corner of the timber tower, with a fifth structure at the centre of the tower base.
