Old quarry shown as such on 1887 map. It is set on a north-west facing slope above Oldacourt Linhay. The site is now a grassy hollow with rock face behind, surrounded by trees, and measures 25 metres north-east to south-west across the front, about 12 metres in depth and 7 metres high at the rear.
