Full description
Hughes, S., 2011, Phase 2 Land, Higher Woolbrook, Sidford, Sidmouth, Devon. Results of an Archaeological Trench Evaluation, 4 (Report - Excavation). SDV347441.
Probable small pit or posthole (F1003) exposed at southeast end of evaluation trench 10 on land at Woolbrook Park. The pit, which cut the colluvial layer and was sealed by the ploughsoil, was 0.2 metres wide and 0.15 metres deep with steeply sloping sides and a flat base. No finds were recovered from the feature.
