Full description

Bath, E., 1980, Woodland Parish Register (Worksheet). SDV347480.

Levaton Farm lime kiln (disused). Stone built, in good condition. Situated just inside Pulsford Hill Wood. There are signs of limestone having been obtained nearby, and Pulsford Quarry is a short distance away.
Access to the kiln was possible by cart track from Levaton Farm, cart track from Lower Pulsford Farm (now largely overgrown) or cart track from Denbury to Broadhemston road (now ploughed out).
