Full description

'Mill Leat' depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (approximately 1880s in date). Associated with Brent Mill and Millswood Mills, South Brent.

Leat surveyed and recorded running between SX696604 and SX697596. (River Avon) Take-off sluice gate at weir alongside Brent Island. Public access only to first 100 yards. Strong flow. Attractive masonry lined channel. From map appears to cross fields to Brent Mill.
