'P' (pump) marked adjacent to a rectangular feature. Map object based on this source.
Unknown, 2002, A Well is Discovered, 7 (Article in Serial). SDV347580.
Well discovered under side yard of The White Swan during laying of gas pipes. The well is circa six feet in diameter and almost filled with shale and stone. The well is opposite where a passage used to be, leading to the bar and malthouse.

According to an article in The Crediton Country Courier of 10th June 2002 the well belonged to the house on the other side of the yard.
