Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Leat depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (approximately 1880s in date) but not named. Pre-dates any of the more modern housing in Haytor Vale and this map shows just fields in this area.

Haytor Reservoir Leat surveyed and recorded flowing between SX76347745 and SX77217649. (Lemon). Emerges from South West Water reservoir via a pipe. Presume reservoir built over original take-off point. Moderate flow across common, heavily overgrown channel. Culverted under road and into enclosed land.
