Berry Knowles was a separate tenement in 1840, but no dwelling house was recorded. This was built later in the 19th century on the site of a barn or linhay shown on the Highweek tithe map, and is shown on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map of 1890. Other details: Figure 1.
