Full description

Dingley, D., 2007, Ash. An Ancient Estate in North Devon, Plate 22 (Monograph). SDV347741.

Painted timber, lathe and plaster granary on staddle stones with a slate roof. The door reached by a flight of stone steps is of vertical timber boards with a metal plate across the bottom to stop the rats gnawing it. Note also the circular cat hole above the plate, now blocked.
