Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Path between Cross House and Northam House visible, east and west ends are blocked by boundaries. Small structure on north side of boundary at the east end, aligned east-west.

Path between Cross House and Northam House visible, east and west ends are blocked by boundaries. Small structure on east end side of the path, aligned north-south. Also small structure on north side of boundary, centrally placed within the path, east-west aligned, boundary is visible on the west side of this structure, north-south aligned cutting the footpath in half.

Structure at east end of footpath north-south aligned, as shown on Ordnance Survey 1904-06 map. Large structure on south side of boundary, east-west aligned, almost cutting path in half. The structure shown on the earlier Ordnance Survey map on the north side of boundary is no longer visible, and the boundary which was on the west side of this structure, cutting the footpath in half, is not present.

Boundary between Cross House and Northam House is shown continually on maps from 1779 onward. The later Ordnance Survey 1932 map shows the path with a structure almost blocking access. Map object also based on this source.
