McConnell, R., 2011, Land Adjacent to Seaton Cemetery, Colyford Road, Seaton, Devon, 6, 8 (Report - Evaluation). SDV348181.
A rectangular posthole (109) was recorded in Trench 1 during an archaeological evaluation of land adjacent to Seaton Cemetery. The posthold, 0.20 metres by 0.12 metres by 0.20 metres deep was cut into the base of a Bronze Age ditch. A large stone was set in the bottom and the fill contained a piece of wood. Several possible stake holes were also located in the trench. The wood is described as 'fresh' and likely, therefore to be modern.
