Trenches 13 and 14 both revealed evidence for a 'V' shaped ditch, 3.4 metres wide and 1.25 metres deep, corresponding to a strong, linear geophysical anomaly running north-east to south-west, and a smallder ditch running parralel to it. The smaller ditch was some 2 metres to the north-west, and measured circa 1 metre wide and 0.25 metre deepAlthough the larger ditch contained flint of prehistoric date, the ditch correlates with a boundary also seen on the 1841 Tithe Map.
