Full description

Manning, P. T., 2003, Archaeological Evaluation of a Proposed Golf Course Site, Exminster, Devon, 2, 3, 4 (Report - Evaluation). SDV336102.

To the south of the trench, what appeared to be a row of four small stakeholes (generic No. 523), each 0.06-0.07 metres in diameter, was visible close to the eastern edge of the trench. These features were not excavated.

The stakeholes are likely to be Roman in origin. Map object based on this Source.
