Narrow ridge and furrow of probable modern date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1946 and 1958, some 250 metres to the South of Shamley Cross Bridge. A small triangular field centred on circa SS 24692653 and a portion of a field immediately to the south appear to have been deep-ploughed to improve drainage for agriculture, resulting in the ridged earthworks. Within the small triangular field the ridges cover an are of circa 0.6 hectares and are aligned north to south and north-west to south-east, and are between and 3 to 5 metres apart. The ridges in the field to the south cover a similar are and are aligned roughly NNW-SSE and spaced approximately 10 metres apart. They are not clearly visible in any aerial photographs taken after 1958 and may have been levelled by further improvements.
